Join the Contract Action Team

What is the Contract Action Team?
A Contract Action Team (CAT) is a committee made up of union members who take responsibility for communicating with a group of members at the worksite to make sure that they are fully informed and engaged in our Union contract fight. CATs are integral to the fight for a fair, strong contract.

Each CAT member will be responsible for no more than ten (10) members, and assignments will be based on who people see, talk, and work with on a daily basis.

Contract Action Team Commitment:
As a contract action team (CAT) member, I commit to:

1. Help organize actions at my worksite and turn out my coworkers to other bigger County-wide actions

2. Have one-on-one conversations with my coworkers to build and maintain a strong union

3. Distribute and collect bargaining surveys, union membership cards, petitions, etc.

4. Attend regular CAT meetings to share information and strategize

5. Attend a CAT training
