Minimbah House Pty Ltd is preparing a Development Application to use Minimbah House at 119B Minimbah Drive, Whittingham as a wedding venue and visitor accommodation.

- receptions under temporary marquees
- up to 120 wedding guests
- 12 guest rooms for up to 27 people (wedding party and family only on the night before and of the wedding)
- up to 2 weddings per week during peak periods
- music and entertainment finishing by 11 pm
- limited use of the house during wet weather
- onsite parking
- coach and shuttle bus areas
- use of the existing Minimbah Drive access
- new amenities within the former stable building
- repairs to the deteriorated verandah, which may be included in a separate heritage conservation application.
The project team is looking closely at how the proposal could affect the local area. Studies are considering noise, traffic, parking, access, building requirements and accessibility.
