Milborne Port Community Plan 2024 |
Welcome to our 2024 Community Plan questionnaire
This questionnaire gives you the chance to express your opinions about the future of Milborne Port. The topics will help us understand what needs to happen to make Milborne Port an even better place for people who live here.
Your response will make sure that the Community Plan produced as a result of this survey has the support of the local community. The Community Plan will also show how each of us can become involved in influencing the future of where we live, and how we can join others in projects that need residents’ support.

Reborne Church did a survey of the community in 2022, and the Parish Council in 2018, but the most recent detailed plan - the Parish Plan of 2010 - was done a long time ago, and the parish needs a new vision going forward.
In June this a short survey was performed asking residents to highlight the topics they felt needed the greatest focus in the Community Plan. Some 230 residents completed the questionnaire and the following four subjects were the favourites:
- Traffic, Travel & Transport
- Community Facilities
- Local Environment
- Children and Young People
Now we are looking to obtain more detailed, up to date evidence of our community’s needs, which will help obtain and direct funding for, and ensure focus upon, what matters most. We have also included some questions around Housing as the answers will help inform Parish Council responses on Planning matters.
This survey closes on 23rd September 2024. It should take you around 15 minutes to complete, and the findings will be published in November 2024.
Individual information will be treated as confidential and anonymous and will not be published or shared with any other person or organisation.
Please complete this as an individual. People in the same household might have different opinions therefore more than one response per household allows all opinions to be recorded.
There is an optional prize draw at the end if you are over 18 years old. The 3 prizes are in the form of vouchers provided by local businesses and include a voucher for a three course lunch for two at the Clockspire Restaurant; a voucher for £70 for the restaurant at Something Else Fishy; a voucher for £50 to be redeemed at Wayne Pullen’s Butcher Shop.
Many thanks for your time and insight.
