The New South Wales Metropolitan Golf Club of the Year Award is designed to recognise excellence in all aspects relating to the management and operations of a facility, as well as administering financial success of a Golf Club over the past 12 months.

The award will be announced on the Golf NSW and NSW Golf Industry Awards websites. 


Nominations should consider the following criteria with evidence provided:

- Membership retention & growth
- Financial performance
- Clubhouse operations
- Golf Course operations
- Contribution to the Community
- Support of Golf NSW Programs and Initiatives 
- Support of National development/pathway Programs
- Environmental footprint
- Other participation initiatives 

Supporting evidence should relate to the activity and achievements of the past 12 months.

Nominated clubs must be a financially affiliated member of Golf NSW.


Nomination Process

Golf NSW will call for nominations from its members. Golf Clubs may be nominated by a club representative, staff, management, PGA Club/Teaching Professionals or another person with detailed knowledge of the Club’s success. All nominations shall be submitted via the online nomination form and accompanied by a supporting letter from the Golf Club (Management or Director) along with a colour photo of the Club.

Nominations close Monday 14th December 2020.

Selection Process

Each nomination will be reviewed by the Award Selection Panel who will determine four finalists and the winner for 2020.

The Award Selection Panel will consist of representatives from various industry bodies.

Award Presentation

Winners will be notified by Golf NSW and presented with a plaque.
