1. NOFA-VT's Farmer Technical Assistance and Mentorship Program
Thank you for applying to NOFA-VT's Farmer Technical Assistance and Mentorship Program. The goal of this program to help farmers address opportunities or issues on their farm by matching them with experienced farmer mentors or advisors.
This program covers up to 25 hours of assistance from a farm mentor or advisor. Farmers decide how and when – and for how long -- they will work together by visiting each other’s farms, talking things over and whatever else helps them meet their goals.
There is $50 enrollment fee, though some waivers are available if requested. All costs of the program are covered by NOFA through generous support of the Vermont Ag Innovation Center, the John Merck Fund, and Vermont Organic Farmers.
