Interested in being a mentor in United Way of Greater Atlanta's Mentoring MOVES Initiative?

Mentoring MOVES aims to increase positive youth outcomes through the power of mentoring. Register today to get involved We ask that all potential mentors commit to one hour a week for one year at a minimum.   We are rolling out two mentoring models this school year (2018-19).
 
  • United Way's Virtual Mentoring which allows mentors to connect with youth one-on-one through an online platform. We will supplement the online experience with 1-2 face to face events. 
  • United Way's Team Mentoring Program allows mentors to work together in teams of three to support a small group of students. All sessions will take place at the selected middle school - McNair MIddle localed in South Fulton (south of the airport).

  • exchange personal contact information with my mentee (phone, email, social media, etc.)
  • spend time with my mentee outside of the program
  • be alone with my mentee at any time
