Interested in being a mentor in United Way of Greater Atlanta's Mentoring MOVES Initiative?

Mentoring MOVES aims to increase positive youth outcomes through the power of mentoring. Register today to get involved We ask that all potential mentors commit to one hour a week for one year at a minimum. We are rolling out two mentoring models this school year (2018-19).

United Way's Virtual Mentoring which allows mentors to connect with youth one-on-one through an online platform. We will supplement the online experience with 1-2 face to face events.
United Way's Team Mentoring Program allows mentors to work together in teams of three to support a small group of students. All sessions will take place at the selected middle school - McNair MIddle localed in South Fulton (south of the airport).

Face to face small group mentoring (3 mentors work with 6 middle school aged youth) - taking place at Ronald E. McNair MIddle School located at 2800 Burdett Rd, Atlanta, GA 30349 (just south of 285 and at the airport).

Virtual Mentoring (one-on-one online mentoring with 1-2 face to face events a year). Youth in this program will be students at Banneker High School in South Fulton.

I am not sure I can commit to once a week for a year but would like to be engaged in other volunteering opportunities
