Maxwell Downs Renewable Project - Community feedback survey

Maxwell Downs is a proposed Solar Farm and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Maxwell, approximately 15 km south of Wagga Wagga being developed by X-ELIO, a world leader in renewable and sustainable energy. The proposed site is located to the west of Holbrook Road, near the intersection of O’Briens Creek Road and will be set back either side of Oxley Bridge Road and to the north of Maxwell Road.

The project, which involves the construction, operation and future decommissioning, aims to generate around 300MW of clean, renewable energy through photovoltaic panels, connecting to the national grid via nearby transmission lines. Onsite energy storage will enhance flexibility and reliability by aligning electricity generation with consumption.
We are preparing an application to the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI). We would appreciate your feedback on the local area, project design, possible project impacts (positive and negative), and your ideas for potential project benefits and future engagement activities.

This survey should only take about 5-10 minutes to complete. We value your feedback. Thank you for your time.

All questions are optional.
