2026 Facility and Spaces Community Survey

The Mattoon Public Library will be undertaking facility projects that will address our historic Carnegie library building's needs for new windows and updated heating and air conditioning. The library will also undergo an overall audit of space usage to determine how best to use library spaces. The goal is to equip the library building for the next 30 years and beyond, maintaining the historic integrity of the building and ensuring that our community has access to modern library services.

We are asking for community input as we begin this process. Even if you have not used the library for some time, we ask that you would take this quick survey to share your thoughts. All responses will be collected anonymously.
