Why should you comment?

Local government is a Big Business operating, in large part, on your tax dollars, some of which are collected here in the county, some in Atlanta and some in Washington D.C.  This is an opportunity for you to suggest publicly-funded programs and services that should be offered in the community.  Some of your tax dollars collected in Atlanta and Washington D.C. will return to the community to fund only programs and services identified in the comprehensive plan.  So, your comments can help identify what will improve the quality of life where you live and help return some of your tax dollars collected elsewhere to the community.  This is not a local government budget, but, in general, identification of programs and services you would like to see provided here.  Please note especially pages 3-8.  Please comment by Monday night, November 30, 2020.
