A Culture and Heritage Strategy for the Maldon District will enable Maldon District Council and its many partners to make the most effective investments to improve the culture and heritage offer and promote sustainability and growth across these importance sectors. It is important that local communities have their say. So please share your insights, priorities, opportunities and challenges as you see them. This will help us to put together a strategy that is representative of the many communities and locations across the District.
The Cultural and Heritage sectors (at all scales) are important to the District's sense of place, identities, and for the visitor economy. They provide jobs, skills development, volunteering opportunities, and fun (and taking part is good for health). It is important that the Maldon District has a vibrant cultural and heritage offer for local communities and for visitors.
