Maldon District Cultural Gathering Follow Up Survey

This is a follow up survey to the Maldon District Cultural Gathering that took place at Datum Attitude Brewery in Heybridge on the 30th March 2026. This was the first District-wide event of its kind.

Below are some questions (or prompts) that were posed at the event for further reflection and to help inform future gatherings and events of this kind. There seemed to be a general consensus that these kinds of gatherings are a good thing, so we will organise more of them as part of our work on the Culture & Heritage Strategy for the Maldon District.

Whether you were able to attend the gathering or not, please take a few minutes to share some reflections. You can answer the questions and/or share thoughts in the open section at the end of the form.

Any questions please contact Giles Tofield or Sean McLoughlin at Cultural Engine CIC - giles@culturalengine.org.uk or sean@culturalengine.org.uk
1.If you are able to share your name (and organisation/group if relevant), and any information about your practice - that would be great.
2.How can we increase the profile of the creative sectors across the Maldon District?
3.How can we drive participation in creative pursuits across the Distrct?
4.What themes or issues would you like to see covered at future gatherings?
5.Are there opportunities for greater collaboration between cultural/arts sectors across the Maldon District?
6.Any other comments or observations?
7.Please leave your contact details so we can stay in touch. If you booked for the event, then we should have your details.
