This workshop breaks down how to build new research partnerships and collaborations from initial contact, setting project milestones, drafting agreements, how to share findings and maintaining working relationships. Whether you are looking for industry or community connections, or maybe both, learn how to best prepare to embark on an emerging and a rewarding research relationship.

Attending this workshop you will learn the following:

1. How to support community/partner interest as a researcher
2. How to begin developing or strengthening, new or existing partnerships and collaborations
3. Practical advice for bridging community/partner capacity-building and goals, with research goals and feasibility.
4. Solutions to practical challenges of building partnerships/collaborations.
