Port Lincoln & Central Eyre Wudinna Little Athletics are excited to be involved in the Little Athletics SA STRIVE Leadership & Development Program, the only remote offering of this SACE-accredited program in South Australia for high school students aged 14+.
STRIVE gives students the opportunity to develop valuable leadership, coaching and officiating skills while gaining practical experience within their local athletics community. Students can complete their practical hours through Port Lincoln or Central Eyre Little Athletics Club, supporting club activities, programs, clinics and events throughout the season, while also having the opportunity to gain further experience by volunteering at Little Athletics South Australia programs, clinics and events.
Students will complete free accredited training before choosing to participate in either the Coaching Stream or Officiating Stream, with each stream recognised as worth 10 Stage 1 SACE points.
Once registered, students must contact their school’s SACE Coordinator to confirm the requirements and process for participating and gaining SACE credit through their school.
After completing the registration form, a Little Athletics South Australia staff member will contact students with further information about the program, training and next steps.
