Marin Young Playwrights Festival 2020

We will be accepting submissions for the 2020 Marin Young Playwrights Festival from now through December 17th.

We do not accept submissions via email or standard post. Please complete the application form and upload your script below. If you encounter any technical difficulty, contact Liam Robertson, Director of Education, at robertsonl@marintheatre.org.

MYPF Guidelines:
-Plays must be five to ten minutes long (10 pages or less) in any genre: comedy, drama, etc.
-Plays must have four or fewer characters.
-Playwrights must be enrolled in high school for the 2019-2020 school year, and must be a resident of or attend a school in the Bay Area.
-Only one submission per playwright is allowed each year.
-Musicals, translations, and adaptations are not eligible.
-Collaborations are welcome as long as all participating playwrights are eligible under these guidelines.
-Plays must not have received a production prior to submission.
