The Orthopaedic Research Society is an international, non-profit research organization focused on accelerating musculoskeletal discovery to improve health. To increase awareness of orthopaedic injuries and disorders, we are collecting patient testimonials (video - self-recorded) for social media/marketing from those who fit into the following categories:
- BONE: Broken bone(s), surgical repair, bone infection, or bone tumor
- SPINE: Herniated disc, spinal fusion surgery, or significant back pain
- JOINTS: Joint replacement (knee, hip, ankle, etc.), cartilage repair procedure, significant joint pain, or joint injections
- TENDON: Torn or ruptured a tendon or ligament (ACL, Achilles, patellar tendon, etc.), or tendonitis (inflammation) of a tendon
- MENISCUS: Meniscus tear or surgery to replace, repair, or remove the meniscus
- OTHER: Osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, or other chronic orthopaedic diseases
If you would like to support our social media campaign to increase awareness of these common musculoskeletal injuries and diseases, please fill out the following survey and we will reach out to you with further details. Your participation will stimulate discussion to increase funding for orthopaedic research at the national level with government agencies, such as the National Institute of Health (NIH), as well as from relevant non-profit foundations which fund scientific research.
Thank you for your participation.
