Apply to Serve On the 2025 SSF Scientific Programming Committee

The 2025 Summer Scientific Forum will take place in person, July 14 - 17, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Purpose
The Summer Scientific Forum (SSF) Scientific Programming Committee is responsible for planning high-quality scientific content that engages the target audience for the SSF -- scientists working in bioanalysis and pharmaceutical analysis. The committee plans all scientific content, including plenary, symposia, keynote, and rapid fire sessions.

The committee's scientific agenda must also drive attendees from various scientific backgrounds to connect with other scientists in shared high-level sessions focused on key regulatory issues.

Tasks
Build a scientific program that:
- Is consistent with the AAPS strategic vision and aligns with other programming across the AAPS seasonal calendar

- Achieves the programmatic objectives of SSF
- Ensures high standards for presentation
- Prioritizes attendee experience over other concerns

Attention: Applications are blinded for review by a screening committee of volunteers. Applicants are strongly encouraged to answer each question thoughtfully and completely. The screening committee evaluates candidates only on the information included in their responses.


Committee Limit: Members cannot serve on more than one AAPS Committee at a time. Members will not be considered for roles on other committees until their term is complete. Participation in short-term volunteer activities (e.g., task forces, moderating a session, servicing as a mentor) at any time is acceptable. Read the Committee Volunteer Policy (PDF).
