The Alameda County Public Works Agency is updating its Pedestrian, Bicycle, and Trail Master Plan. The plan covers Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, Fairview, Hayward Acres, San Lorenzo, Sunol, and other unincorporated areas in northern and eastern Alameda County. The plan will help the County create safer and better-connected places for people to walk, ride a bike, use an e-bike or e-scooter, use a wheelchair, mobility scooter, or other mobility device, and use local trails.

The questions below ask:
  • How you get around
  • What makes travel difficult
  • What would help you walk, roll, bike, use transit, or use trails more often
  • Which improvements should be the highest priorities

Your answers will help Alameda County compare needs across communities and plan future projects.

The survey takes about 8 to 10 minutes. Your answers are anonymous, and results will only be shared as group totals.

You may skip any question or leave the survey at any time.
