Below is a list of questions, designed to give you an indication of your level of readiness for succession and where -- among the 10 factors in The Succession Matrix -- you have opportunities for improvement on your journey.

With about 10 self-assessment questions per factor, the scorecard questionnaire moves fast. You should plan to spend 15 to 20 minutes filling it out.

At the end of the questionnaire, you will receive a total readiness score. However, that's just the beginning of the value this tool provides. Once we receive your completed scorecard, the MRAA education team and its three Succession Planning Toolkit key partners will begin preparing a customized report for you, detailing how you performed in each area and offering strategies and resources for improvement.
