Welcome and thank you for making it this far. This is such a powerful data set and the more complete it is the better it will be. We are trying to establish how many festivals there actually are in the UK that are about music, include music or have some music. We will ask some questions in what you might regard as touchy subjects but will keep the individual data anonymous and carefully held and use only the information you provide when it’s combined with other festivals.
The aim is to represent as many festivals as possible in the UK and to do that we need your help. Please will you share this survey with as many other festivals as you can find. This might create duplication, but we will sift that out. Please look at your local area, your network and as far afield as you normally work. We will then hopefully be able to present good data to a wide variety of authorities and represent you, the festival industry, as best we can.
