Australia Day Local Working Groups - Expression of Interest Form - New Volunteers

Local Australia Day Working Group Members help bring Australia Day events to life across the region.

Local Working Group members represent local communities, support event planning and delivery, and follow the responsibilities outlined in the Local Working Group Terms of Reference and Role Description.

A key part of the role includes reviewing and assessing nominations for Australia Day Awards, helping to recognise individuals and groups who make outstanding contributions to their local community.

Each Local Working Group will consist of between six (6) and ten (10) members for the remaining Council term which will end after the 2028 Australia Day event.

Expressions of Interest close on Friday 3rd October 2025 at 5pm.
