Collection and use of personal information
CHF Canada uses the information collected on this form to provide you with information and services related to the CHF Canada Co-operative Management Conference Virtual Plenary. We also use the information in preparing statistical reports about attendance at the CMC Virtual Plenary, for internal use.
Except as otherwise described in this notice, we restrict access to non-public personal information about you to employees of CHF Canada and other parties who must use the information to provide services to you. We will maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in compliance with applicable law and CHF Canada’s policies to guard your personal information from unauthorized access or alteration.
Your email address will be kept separately from any other data for up to five years after this CMC Virtual Plenary, for use in contacting you with respect to your participation in CHF Canada-sponsored surveys and consultations, and to provide you with information about other services that may be of interest to you. This information will be stored on a secure server with restricted permissions and used only for the purposes described here.
All other personal information collected in your registration for the CMC Virtual Plenary will be stored securely with restricted access until such time as it can be destroyed, which will be by no later than September 30, 2020.
By registering for the CMC Virtual Plenary, you are giving consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information for the purposes identified above.
Recordings and Electronic images
CHF Canada will be recording selected CMC Virtual Plenary webinars.
While participant names and images will not be visible during the webinar and won’t be recorded, those of the presenter, panelist and/or workshop leader will be visible to participants during the session.
After each webinar, copies of the webinar will be shared with participants. We remind housing co-ops and their registered participants that they should not infringe on other people’s privacy and other rights, and in particular should not capture and/or share screen shots or other personal information that they obtain from or during the webinar, or from the recording circulated after the webinar.
