In-Person Alameda County Focus Group (April 30 - May 1, 2025)

GENERAL INFO

We are looking for Alameda County residents to participate in an two-day in-person focus group from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both April 30 and May 1 (you must be fully present both days to participate). Compensation for participation will be $500 (paid by PayPal or Venmo at the conclusion of the event). This focus group is scheduled to take place in Fremont; lunch and snacks will be provided. Masks and social distancing are encouraged but not required. If you have previously participated in one of our focus groups, you may not be eligible to participate in this event.

Eligible applicants will be contacted via email for a short Zoom interview during which you will be asked to demonstrate your ability to access our online polling platform, watch a short video, and respond accurately to several questions about that video.

Please be aware that if you are selected for the focus group, we will have to verify your identity for payment purposes. You will be asked to submit/show a legible copy/photo of your driver's license or California ID (instructions will be provided for which portions can be redacted).

NOTE: If you are found to be rude/discourteous to our staff prior to or during the event, you are subject to disqualification from consideration or dismissal without pay.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR PARTICIPATION YOU MUST:

1) Have a valid California Driver’s License or California ID;

2) Be a resident of Alameda County;

3) Be able to read, write, and speak in English;

4) Be able to attend a TWO-DAY in-person event in Fremont; and

5) Have a device (cell phone, tablet, or laptop) which can access our polling platform via the internet (free WiFi will be provided at the event).
