Introduction

Southern Gulf NRM is the natural resource management (NRM) organisation for the Southern Gulf region of north west Queensland. We work with our partners and the community to protect our region’s natural resources and maintain the prosperity of industries and communities that rely on these. The region comprises all the land whose creeks and rivers run into the south of the Gulf of Carpentaria.

For more information see our website or find us on Facebook.

We focus on the priorities identified in the Southern Gulf Natural Resource Management (NRM) Plan.  We gather and share information and broker funds from government, business and the community for collaborative on-ground projects on improving grazing systems, managing pests and weeds, reducing erosion, repairing waterways and restoring degraded habitats, and the provision of natural resource management information and advice for the community.

Your feedback in this survey will help us focus on regional community priorities and improve our performance.

This survey will likely take 15-20 minutes of your time. Your answers will be strictly confidential.

If after completing the survey, you would like to enter the draw to win a book pack, please provide your contact details.

We hope you will take this opportunity to help Southern Gulf NRM become a better organisation.

Kind Regards

Andrew Maclean
Chief Executive Officer
