Are you a scientist that participates in research within the fields of ecology or environment? If so, we want to hear from you!

Have you heard opinions about which sector of your research community is the most productive or impactful? Or which sector produces the highest quality research? Is it academia, government, industry, or the not-for-profit sector?

This survey aims to collect data to explore if any of these claims are justified.

We aim to gauge the attitudes and perceptions of scientists that participate in research within the fields of ecology and environment towards different sectors of their research community.

The results of this survey will be paired with scientific publication data to assess if people’s attitudes and perceptions of different sectors of their research community match the objective metrics. The results of this research will be published as one or more scientific journal articles.

This survey is completely confidential. The data will not be used to identify individuals or organisations.

This survey should take a maximum of 10 minutes.

Lastly, we would greatly appreciate it if you could distribute this survey amongst your networks, to scientists that participate in research within the fields of ecology and environment.

Thank you for engaging with this survey and our research.
