The 2025 State of Black Dayton report, Resilience and Renewal: Charting the Future for Black Dayton, is being developed by the Miami Valley Urban League. This survey offers an opportunity for those who could not attend the in-person Community Conversations to share their voice. I’m Jason Daniels, President and CEO of JAYRAMON, and the consultant supporting this project.

Your insights are an essential part of shaping the report. Through this survey, we invite you to share your aspirations for the Dayton region (keep all of Montgomery County in mind - individuals, groups, neighborhoods, businesses, industry, schools, etc.), along with your experiences, challenges, and ideas for the future.

It is important that we create a safe and open space for sharing. JAYRAMON will not include direct quotes in summary materials, presentations, or reports. No comments will be attributed to you or any individual, and we will not use names or identifying information. If you choose to provide your name and contact information to stay connected to this project, please know it will only be used for follow-up and will not appear in any reporting.

Please share this survey with individuals in your networks so we can further inform and strengthen this important work. The survey will remain available until noon on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

If you have any questions regarding the survey, please call me directly at 216-640-5303 or email me at jayramon@yahoo.com.

Nikol Miller, Executive Director for the Miami Valley Urban League, appreciates your willingness to participate and thanks you in advance.
