Maple Valley Black Diamond Chamber 2017 Award Nominations
The Greater Maple Valley-Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce will honor three outstanding community businesses at the new Chamber Gala on Friday, September 15th.
We will be honoring the achievements, the dedication, and the innovative spirit of our local businesses over the past year. We want to tell our stories, proclaim achievements, celebrate milestone anniversaries, and brag a little.
Not only is this an opportunity to more formally recognize and applaud businesses, it is an opportunity to share the most successful business practices and set a benchmark for excellence.

We are looking for nominations for the following awards:
2017 Business of the Year Award - The business of the year nominee will be considered on the basis of their success in providing high quality products or services, demonstrating strong ethical standards, exhibiting leadership with its employees and clients within its industry and its involvement and collaboration in the community. Nominee must be a Chamber Member and have been in business at least 2 years or more.
2017 New Business of the Year Award - The new business nominee will be considered on the basis of their impact and business professionalism through customer service, product quality and community involvement. This award will also recognize the entrepreneurial spirit of this new business addition to the Greater Maple Valley Black Diamond Area. Nominees must be Chamber Members and have been in business at least 9 months but less than 2 years.
2017 Chamber Member of the Year Award - New for 2017, the business/organization nominee will be considered on the basis of their effectiveness in working together with other area business(es) to achieve more. Nominees will provide a shining example of how collaboration among two or more businesses can benefit all involved through combining of resources, sharing of expertise and/or creatively building upon one another’s efforts. Nominees must be Chamber members and have been in business for at least one year.
