The MTN Virtual 2L Learning Forum is designed to provide diverse 2L students that participated in the Virtual Summer Learning Forum with the opportunity to hear from legal hiring experts and law firm and legal department hiring leaders on a variety of professional skills topics, including: (1) virtual networking, informational interviewing, and resume best practices, (2) virtual interviewing and OCI tips and tricks, (3) building your narrative and finding opportunities outside of OCI, and (4) how to make the most of your summer position and land a job offer. Most importantly, each session of the MTN Virtual 2L Forum will incorporate a lengthy Q&A session with law firm and legal department hiring professionals as well as small group discussions.

Programming will be held over four Thursday sessions beginning Thursday, October 22nd with additional sessions on Thursday, November 19th, Thursday, February 4th, and concluding on Thursday, April 8th. The programs will begin at 12:30pm PT/3:30pm ET and conclude by 2pm PT/5pm ET.

During the programs, attendees will have the opportunity to:
  • Listen to panel presentations and Q&A from legal hiring experts and representatives from our MTN law firms and legal departments;
  • Learn skill-building tips and techniques related to resume best practices, and virtual networking and interviewing, and stories from successful summer internships;
  • Participate in small group networking with influential law firm and in-house lawyers and legal recruitment professionals.
