ANA Marketing Training & Development Center - Virtual Workshop Training Brief and Agreement

1.Workshop Training Brief & Agreement

As part of membership, ANA Member companies are offered a half-day training benefit*, through the ANA’s Marketing Training & Development Center (“MTDC”.)

Your half-day workshop training benefit may also be applied towards a more robust training program. If you would like to learn more about this option, please contact your MTDC Regional Manager, or email training@ana.net.

Based on your needs, the workshop may be customized to address your company's unique initiatives or challenges. Customization can include the development of new training modules, research into additional company-specific case histories, or the incorporation of your unique processes and procedures. If you want a customized program, there will be a content development fee, which will be discussed after the scope is determined. Note, a condensed workshop may incur additional fees, if the workshop will need to be redesigned.
 
The ANA MTDC has found that the following contribute significantly to a successful workshop experience:
-                      Senior Management support of workshop topic, goals, objectives, and a willingness to attend the workshop
-                      Championing and marketing the workshop internally
-                      Participation in a full briefing session with the facilitator on a pre-workshop kick-off call
-                      Encouraging participants to complete a post-workshop survey, which the ANA will provide
 
*The half day workshop training benefit is available to ANA members whose dues are current and it may not be transferred to another company.
1.The “owner” of the half day workshop is the individual within your company that is the principal ANA MTDC contact (known as the ANA Member Rep).  This person must approve the use of your half day member benefit.  If you do not know who this person is within your company, please contact us at training@ana.net.

4.For the following questions, please provide detailed information to ensure we understand your workshop audience, business challenges, and objectives. This information will be shared with your workshop facilitator prior to our kick-off call.(Required.)
5.To maximize your workshop experience, a recommended best practice is for a senior marketer to be involved in workshop selection, the kick-off call, and either opening and/or participating in the workshop. While the ANA MTDC covers the tuition for delivery of your standard, non-customized workshop, you agree to: Socialize invitations to learners, incorporating key details provided by the ANA’s MTDC, ensure that all attendees have access to the virtual platform that will be used for the workshop, and participate in a brief tech check with the ANA MTDC to ensure all aspects of the virtual workshop will function properly, and if not, collaborate to troubleshoot.

7.The ANA will provide digital copies of Workshop materials. Member may be responsible to socialize to learners prior to the workshop. You agree that the ANA and/or its facilitators retain all intellectual property rights to all and any deliverables that the ANA and its facilitators share with your company. The ANA certifies that all of your company’s intellectual property materials that may be used to customize the training workbook shall remain yours and will not be shared with any third party. You are granted a limited, perpetual, revocable, non-sub licensable, and non-transferable license to utilize the deliverables for the purpose of this training program only. Sharing with anyone outside of the training is not permitted.(Required.)
8.Workshop Cancellation and/or Rescheduling Policy: Prior to a written workshop date confirmation, all dates are considered “soft” holds. In the event the facilitator for your session is asked to lead another workshop, ANA MTDC will give you three (3) business days to confirm the “soft” booked date. If the “soft” booked date is not confirmed, the date will be released.

*Once a workshop date is confirmed in writing there is a rescheduling / cancellation policy: 1. If your workshop is canceled within 15 days of the confirmed date there is a $1,000 cancellation fee plus any customization and non-refundable travel fees and other non- refundable out of pocket facilitator costs which result due to the workshop being cancelled. 2. If a cancelled workshop is subsequently rescheduled within 5 days of cancellation, 50% of any workshop cancellation fees, except for any customization or nonrefundable facilitator travel costs or penalties, will be credited back to you.

9.Workshop Recording Policy: No ANA workshop may be screen-captured or recorded without the expressed written consent of the ANA at least two weeks prior to workshop delivery. If recording is requested, there will be an incremental cost, which you will discuss with your MTDC Regional Manager.(Required.)
10.Concurrent Virtual Training Policy: No workshop may be concurrently delivered in-person and virtually (i.e. webinar or video conference), without the permission of the ANA at least two weeks in advance of your workshop delivery.(Required.)
11.Next Steps: Upon completion of this workshop agreement, your MTDC learning partner will secure an instructor for your workshop. A kick-off call with you and the instructor will follow to review your workshop objectives and define workshop success. By clicking "done" you are agreeing to all terms above.
