Recognition as a Industry Support Organisations
The Office for Recreation and Sport defines the sport and recreation industry as consisting of four sectors:

- Community Recreation (including Aquatics)
- Outdoor Recreation
- Fitness
The Office for Recreation and Sport recognises that to have a capable and sustainable industry, sport and active recreation needs to be underpinned by bodies whose purpose is not the delivery of a specific sport or active recreation activity, but whose primary role is to support the industry through training, support, the provision of information and development, for organisations and individuals.
This could be a body supporting a specific segment of the industry or a body representing a group of individuals involved in the industry.
You must be affiliated with the national organisation generally recognised as supporting the segment or group, where such a body exists, and they in turn must recognise you as their South Australian representative.
