Housing Information

For priority consideration, your housing application (this form) must be submitted by Monday, March 11, 2019. The Office of Residence Life will contact you via email with your housing assignment and the instructions to officially accept your housing assignment. To officially accept your housing assignment you will be required to visit the Office of Residence Life to sign your housing contract, personal data card and fill out your medical information (If you are unable to visit the office to sign required documents please contact us through email to sign required documents electronically). Failure to submit all forms will delay your assignment. Assignments are made on a first-come, first-serve basis based on when you submit the housing application below.
 
UPCOMING CHANGES FOR 2019-2020:

The Office of Residence Life has made changes for the upcoming year:
  • Living Learning Communities:
    • Health and Natural Science Living Learning Community Students will receive priority for 2nd Floor West Co-ed
    • Lions on a Mission Themed Community Students (community service and faith exploration) will receive priority for 3rd Floor West Co-ed
  • Upperclassmen (Junior and Senior status) and Graduate students receive priority for the entire 6th floor
  • Graduate Students also receive priority for the 2nd Floor Southeast
  • The 3rd floor Southeast will open as an all female floor

LIVING LEARNING COMMUNITIES INFORMATION:
1. Lions on a Mission Themed Community – 3rd Floor West (Co-ed)
The Lions on a Mission Themed Community is home to students who are passionate about exploring the integration of faith and service at the Mount and the greater community.  Members of the Lions on a Mission community will strive to serve others and embrace different cultures and beliefs. The members will be grounded in the spiritual values and vision of the Mount’s founders, the Sisters of Charity. This floor is supported by a Resident Assistant and the Coordinator of Residence Life.

2.  The Health and Natural Science Living Learning Community– 2nd Floor West (Co-ed)
The Health and Natural Science Living Learning Community is a space designed for students interested in pursuits related to the health and natural sciences. Students living in this community in the residence hall will work together to support each other’s interests in learning more about topics and opportunities in the health and natural science fields. This floor is supported by a Resident Assistant and the Coordinator of Residence Life.

Once your electronic housing application is submitted Marti Crowley (Administrative Assistant) will review your housing request early March. Marti will then send you an official email with your housing assignment – to confirm your room you MUST come in to Seton 132 to sign your housing contract, medical information and emergency card. (If you are unable to visit the office to sign required documents please contact us through email to sign required documents electronically). If you do not complete the required housing documents by April 1 you may lose your desired room.
