Montana State Fund is committed to the safety of Montana’s workforce. This scholarship is for Industrial Construction Trade students with high academic credentials and a demonstrated desire to champion safety as they move into their professional endeavors.

Eligibility: Students with at least one semester (12 credit hours) of coursework completed and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Only students from the following programs are eligible.

A 1-2 page cover letter describing the importance of safety specific to your desired industry and how you plan to champion safety in the future.

Two letters of recommendation (one academic).
Other Requirements: Recipients of the scholarship must submit an unofficial transcript by January 1, 2020 to confirm 3.0 GPA and 12 credit hours of coursework. 
Award: A sum of up to $4,000 is awarded toward the cost of your education (tuition, books, room/board etc). Recipients will receive two equal scholarship amounts. One will be awarded at the beginning of the 2020 calendar year and the other at the beginning of the 2020 fall semester.
Deadline: Complete application submission must be received by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2019 to be considered.
