The Mississippi State Department of Health is interested in gathering additional information from Mississippi school superintendents.  The following survey is completely voluntary and your responses will be remain anonymous. No personal identifying information will be asked.  Thank you in advance for your participation and your assistance with informing public health decisions in Mississippi.

For a number of weeks we have discussed a modified quarantine to allow exposed children to continue to participate in on-campus class if their only exposure is in a structured classroom environment.  This would not apply to exposures in unstructured settings such as sports or other extracurricular activities.  Students eligible for this modified quarantine would not be allowed to participate in any other school based activities other than attend class, have daily temperature and symptom assessment, would be required to wear a mask at all times, and would be excluded if they become symptomatic.
