To apply for the Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA) Program, you will need to complete:
(1) the online Graduate Application for the California State University System (http://www.csumentor.org). (Select Business Administration - Accountancy - MS as the Major/Program objective.)
(2) this online supplemental application for the College of Business & Economics Office of Graduate Programs.
To speed the application process, we suggest having a copy of your transcript handy for reference. When you are finished entering your information, press the [Done] button at the bottom on the last page of the web form.
As you complete this supplemental application, please take note of the following points:
A. Admission to this program will be based on the information you have provided here, with special attention given to undergraduate prerequisites in (a) Accounting [15 units] (Intermediate, Cost, Audit, and Tax); (b) Business [24 units] (Information Systems, Business Law, Finance, Statistics, and 12 units of general business coursework including Business Communication); and (c) your overall, accounting, and last 60 semester units grade point averages. Students must be admitted into the University to be eligible for the MSA.
B. Only students who already have an official 9-digit CSUN student ID number are eligible to apply for admission to the MS Accountancy program. These ID numbers are issued during the process of applying for admission to the University.
C. Fields having an asterisk (*) to their left are required.
D. Each student may only submit one application per year to the MS Accountancy.
E. Accuracy is important. Inaccurate data will result in an automatic denial of the application and administrative withdrawal from MSA graduate classes if enrolled.
