The Active Transportation Alliance is collecting feedback on the City of Chicago’s 2020 Shared Streets Program that temporarily closed streets to local traffic to create more space for people walking, biking, running, and rolling during the pandemic. We are collecting community input to better understand what worked, how communities benefited (or didn’t), and how the program could be improved in the future so we can advocate for better walking, biking and transit options in 2021 and beyond.
