Add Your Program to NC CAP's Afterschool Directory |
NC CAP is creating a comprehensive Afterschool Directory to determine how many children are being served by afterschool programs in your community and across the state. The guide will be a valuable resource for parents and children to learn where programs are located and have contact information for programs. The Directory will also assist NC CAP in identifying active programs across the state. Regional and statewide directories will be accessible to the public via website.
Please note: To be included in the Afterschool Directory, programs must meet one of the following criteria:
1. meets a minimum of three days a week for at least two hours per day serving up to ten school-age children
2. is a school-based, faith-based or community-based organization that provides out-of -school time opportunities (weekend, summer,track-out, before and/or afterschool) for school-age children
3. is a college or university-based weekend/afterschool/summer outreach program (i.e. Trio Programs, GearUp, etc.)
