Murray Plains Farmers Livestock Producer Technology Group

Murray Plains Farmers has an exciting opportunity to participate in a Livestock Producer Technology Group, funded by PIRSA’s Red Meat and Wool Growth Program.
 

The aim of the program is: “To make participation in the livestock industry easier and lift livestock enterprise productivity and profitability”


The objectives of the Producer Technology Groups are to:
·      Explore and share experiences and knowledge on ways that precision livestock management technologies can be used in red meat and wool production.
·      Learn from experts on how technologies could assist you to improve productivity, efficiency and profitability in your business.
·      Support producer members to implement and apply technology to improve productivity, efficiency and profitability.

The MPF Committee is working with PIRSA to develop a plan for the topics/content that will be delivered to producers as part of this project. We want to ensure the meetings are a perfect fit for where you want to take your livestock enterprise in future and meet the program’s objectives.

To assist in ensuring the schedule of activities is exactly what you need, we are seeking input from farmers in the Murray Plains region. This survey will take about 5 minutes to complete and your responses will go to PIRSA and MPF to help plan the project’s activities for the next two years.
