A call for patients to interact with eTRIKS

The IMI and EFPIA funded eTRIKS project is reaching out to you and the patient community to gain insight and support to meet the full potential that medical data has to offer.

Your views will be used to develop educational material and to help researchers to better understand how to make make optimal use of data and to make sure data reuse becomes more widespread.

To do this we have brought together patients, data experts and medical doctors to gain insight into the value of data and data reuses through a play decide game that encourages participants to openly discuss key issues.

One outcome of the discussion games already conducted, was that willingness to share data was dependant on the seriousness of the patients illness. We want to invite further patient participation by asking patients to provide their views on this particular point, through a very small survey.  We believe that sharing data can only help medical research. This survey could very well help shape the future of how medical research is shared.
