Inaugural Missouri Diabetes Awareness Day 2017 November 14, 2017 Missouri State Capital, Hearing Room 7 10:00 am to 1:30 pm
RSVP
Every day across our state there are people who struggle to manage and control their diabetes. Diabetes impacts over 747,373 Missourians. They are burdened with unnecessary pain and lost work days because of a lack of information. In addition, the annual cost to Missouri reaches more than $4.8 billion.
Join people all over the world celebrating World Diabetes Day, November 14, 2017 at the inaugural Diabetes Awareness Day event in Jefferson City. We will celebrate hope and the individuals and organizations that are providing guidance and support towards better diabetes management and control. Through coordination, dialogue and capacity building, these partners are developing a continuum of Diabetes Self-management Education and support opportunities across the state.
