This year's survey covers our core MOVE measures — money, opportunity, vital supports, and entrepreneurship — with additional questions focused on this year's theme: how caregiving responsibilities are affecting retention, advancement, and leadership pipelines in public accounting.

All questions are required. Partial submissions cannot be considered for the Best CPA Firms for Women or Best CPA Firms for Equity Leadership lists.

Before you begin
This survey spans compensation, headcount, and policy data. We recommend having the following on hand before you start:
  • Total headcount by gender and level (staff through partner)
  • Compensation ranges or averages by role and gender
  • Parental, caregiver, and flexible work leave policies
  • Promotion and advancement data for the past 12–24 months
  • Current benefit offerings related to caregiving and mental health

By responding to questions on this survey, you consent to participate in this research study. All submitted data will be used in aggregate to evaluate firms for the Best CPA Firms lists. No identifying information will be published without prior written consent. The Center for Accounting Transformation serves as custodian of the dataset and maintains the confidentiality of all firm and individual responses.

Your firm name is required so the MOVE research team can follow up for clarification if needed. If you are receiving a Snapshot or Scorecard, a team member will contact you separately to schedule your interview.
