Project Tuckamore (the Project) is a diversification initiative proposed by Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Limited (CBPPL), a subsidiary of Kruger Inc., in western Newfoundland. The Project is intended to support the future of the Corner Brook Mill, strengthen the forestry sector, and increase the use of renewable energy in Mill operations. It includes four interconnected components: forestry modernization, upgrades at the Corner Brook Mill, improvements to Deer Lake Power facilities, and the development of a new wind farm.
The Project will require an environmental assessment for the development of the new wind farm as part of the permitting and approval process by the provincial government, and CBPPL is currently collecting information to support this process.
This survey will help us learn about the communities and land and resource use activities that occur in and around the proposed Wind Farm Site and will be used by CBPPL as part of the environmental assessment.
The survey does not record contact information and your responses will remain anonymous. The survey has up to 44 questions and should take 10 minutes or less to complete. The survey will be open to the public until October 9, 2026.
Your participation in the survey is voluntary and the information you are willing to share is greatly appreciated.
