Dear Individual Augmentee, You received this survey because you are currently deployed for a WIAS position, filled by FORSCOM. LTG Joseph Anderson (HQDA DCS G-3/5/7), requires your feedback regarding the WIAS position you are currently assigned to. The Army's goal is to reduce the number of global individual augmentation to no more than 450 over the next five years, in order to improve unit readiness. The Army's strength is derived from its Soldiers' ability to train and deploy as a unit, while balancing requirements to fulfill temporary niche capabilities. With your help, we can make individual augmentation the exception to the deployment rule, and increase force readiness with units, which are better prepared to deploy.
Reply with your feedback, NLT 11 December 2018, using this survey form. (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MNBTCZB).
First round of analysis begins 12 December, but continue to send your survey responses, because this is an on-going project.
1. What is your duty title for the position you are actually performing, in comparison to the duty title specified on the documentation for the WIAS position that you are currently assigned to? If different, then explain why it changed, and when it changed.
2. What is the location where you primarily work, in comparison to the location specified on the documentation for the WIAS position that you are currently assigned to? If different, then explain why it changed, and when it changed.
3. Recommend a grade range for the level of work you are actually performing for the duration of the WIAS position you are currently assigned to. Explain your recommendation.
*** Keep your answers at the UNCLASSIFIED level. For example, if your duty location specified for your WIAS position is in the US, with TDY overseas, just say that. If your duty location specified for your WIAS position is in support of one combatant command, but you actually perform in support of a different combatant command, say that.
