Autry Mission
The Autry brings together the stories of all peoples of the American West, connecting the past with the present to inspire our shared future.

Project Description
Investigating Griffith Park is an ongoing public research project developed in multiple phases that will transform one of the Autry’s core galleries into an experimental, hands-on space to prototype ideas for a future exhibition. We believe there is a diversity of stories waiting to be shared, collected, investigated, and preserved. Our Discovery Phase of the gallery opens November 17, 2018, with the final exhibition slated to open in 2021 (the 125th anniversary of Griffith Park).

We're looking for a mix of proposals that connect to the history, environment and uses of Griffith Park. Preference will be given to activities that encourage a wide array of experiences and audiences.

We will select a limited number of proposals to be developed into public events that will be scheduled at the Autry Museum beginning in Summer 2019 and continuing for several years through the run of the exhibition.

This is a rolling review process and you can expect to hear back in 4 to 6 weeks.
