§205.603(a)(29)
Allowed only to reverse the effects of sedation and analgesia caused by Xylazine. Use requires a meat withdrawal period of at least 8 days and a milk discard period of at least 4 days. Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the lawful written or oral order of a licensed veterinarian.

1.Is your operation certified organic?
2.Is Tolazoline included in your organic system plan?
3.Which types of organic livestock do you produce/raise using Tolazoline?
4.With what frequency does your operation use Tolazoline?
5.Tolazoline is a synthetic substance that is limited to use only by prescription from a veterinarian to reverse the effects of the sedative xylazine. Are there any new non-synthetic substances that can be used to reverse the effect of the sedative xylazine as effectively as tolazoline?
6.How would your organic production be impacted if Tolazoline was no longer allowed? (describe the agronomic, environmental or human health effects, product quality, economic effects)
