2016 BMO Harris Bank Cheer Challenge Cheer Group Participants The BMO Harris Bank Cheer Challenge gives community-based groups or clubs the chance to raise money while cheering on runners at one of ten aid stations on course. Runners get to vote for their favorite participant, and the top three chosen win a prize. Please refresh your memory on the station you thought was the best, and rank them below. Question Title A. Prairie Kids Club: the home and proud supporter of the Sun PrairieYOUTH CHEER PROGRAM. Our mission is to provide premium enrichment programs for children of all ages. Our community based cheer program is open to kids of all ages & school districts and offers reasonable time and financial commitments. In addition to our award winning cheer teams, we offer open gym time, tumbling and gymnastics classes, birthday parties and team gymnastics. Question Title B. Lululemon Athletica & UW Diaper Drive:Lululemon strives to create transformational experiences for people to live happy, healthy, and fun lives. They take great pride in being a part of their community and will use the prize money to support the UW Diaper Drive in support of women and their families. Question Title C. Movin' Shoes & Girl Scouts of Wisconsin- Badgerland Council:Madison's running specialty store, Movin' Shoes will be joining Girl Scouts of Wisconsin, the premiere leadership organization offering girls the tools they need to be successful leaders now and throughout their lives. Question Title D. LightHorse Association:The LightHorse Squadron Association (LHA) is a non-profit all volunteer Veteran Service Organization (VSO) with a primary mission to advocate for and assist current members of the 1st Squadron 105th Cavalry Regiment, Regimental Veterans and their Families. The Association provides opportunities for soldiers, veterans and family members to get involved in the larger community. The LHA plays a critical role in supporting the esprit de corps, morale and welfare of their members while also providing a bridge to the greater community that supports and recognizes the service of the soldiers and veterans of the regiment. Question Title E. November Project-Madison:November Project™ is a FREE fitness movement that was born in Boston as a way to stay in shape during cold New England months. Now present in 29 cities in across North America and Europe (Iceland and Serbia), the movement is using a simple sense of accountability (verbal) to motivate and encourage people of all ages, shapes, sizes and fitness levels to get out of their beds and get moving. Our members vary from Olympic medalists, professional athletes, marathoners, triathletes, current and former collegiate athletes all the way to complete fitness rookies and recent couch potatoes just looking to kick start their healthy life choices. We meet every Wednesday on Bascom Hill by the Abraham Lincoln statue at 6:30am and every Friday at the State Capitol Steps by the Lady Forward Statue at 6:30am. How can you join? Simple… Just show up! Question Title F. 360 Athletics:360 Athletics is a competitive cheerleading program that encourages their athletes to be well-rounded individuals who are strong, humble and eager to learn. Their goal for the prize money is to provide financial assistance for their athletes helping out with related fees. Question Title G. Stoughton Dance Team: Established in 2011, the Stoughton Dance Team is the official dance team of Stoughton High School and is a part of the proud tradition of Viking athletics. The primary goal of the team is enhancing school spirit at SHS and in the Stoughton community. They dance primarily at football and basketball games, as well as other Stoughton High School functions, community events and competitions locally and at the state level. The team is composed of students in grades 9-12. The dance program is the longest running sport at Stoughton High School with a season beginning in June and running through March. Question Title H. Madison Memorial Girls Cross Country:The MMCC high school team has volunteered since the start of the Madison Mini showing their commitment to the community for eight straight years. These hard working and dedicated athletes will use the prize money to support their transportation budget. Question Title I. Prairie Athletic Club & Tri 4 Schools:PAC strives to provide a healthy, enjoyable environment enabling their members to achieve their fitness and recreational goals. Prize money would be donated towards Tri 4 Schools, which organizes triathlons to raise awareness for healthy living at local grade schools. Question Title J. Fleet Fleet Sports Madison Miller-In-Training:The Miler-in-Training program was created by Jessica Anderson, co-owner of Fleet Feet Sports Madison, her brother Matt Groose & his wife, Molly Groose in 2008. In addition to running, this training program includes a health education component and is specifically targeted for kids. During the program, kids learn about health-related topics ranging from nutrition to hygiene and complete running workouts to prepare them for their final one-mile race. Fleet Feet Sports Madison is committed to procuring funds to continue this life-changing program. Question Title 1.
