Waste & Waste Water Rates Survey 2019

We thank all those who participated in our test water and waste water survey.   According to that initial research, Bancroft has the highest wastewater rates in all of Ontario! Other communities are very clear about how they calculate their wastewater rates.  Bancroft, however, is not.  For example, Toronto bases their wastewater rates on 75% of water delivered to the residence.  Other communities have a dual meter for the water that comes in and the wastewater that goes out.
