The collective local voice has already driven change. In 2024 we saw government invest £2.5 million in the Marches to increase courses and facilities, to counteract specific local skills shortages. Local businesses are now helping our Post 16 training providers to understand what should be included in the curriculum for a given skill. The work goes on but without evidence we cannot drive change, so every business voice captured is important.
