AAPS Nominations Committee Call for Volunteers

Help Choose the Candidates for the 2025 Board of Directors

The AAPS Nominations Committee recruits and nominates candidates for the Board of Directors, including the president, the treasurer, and members-at-large.

AAPS seeks 3 members to join the AAPS Nominations Committee, serving from December 2023 to April 2024.

Qualifications
Applicants must maintain the confidentiality of the committee and potential candidates throughout the process. They must also act impartially and diligently, and with respect for the opinions of other committee members.

Applicants must also:

Have been an AAPS member for at least 5 years at the time of application.
Maintain membership through May 2024.
Have at least 10 years of professional pharmaceutical experience.
Spend approximately 10 hours in online discussions, plus a half-day virtual meeting, in the spring of 2024.

Duties

Participate in at least three video conference.
Solicit nominations from the membership through personal outreach.
Review nominees’ submissions using a web-based reviewing platform such as Microsoft Teams.
Collaborate with other committee members to develop and finalize the slate of candidates.

Nominations Committee members may not submit self-nominations for any of the open Board of Directors positions while serving on the committee.
