Join us for this six-week, interactive virtual workshop that will address areas of aging including cognitive, physical and mental health. This workshop is ideal for anyone looking to focus on quality and quantity of life topics related to healthy aging.
Participants will learn how to:
- Establish behaviors that may improve quality and quantity of life.
- Identify preventive screenings important to prevent chronic conditions and better understand the test results.
- Reduce the risk of falling and injuring ourselves with safety techniques.
- Understand the effects of loneliness on health and build social connectedness.
- Identify the changes that are expected with age and the factors that may increase or decrease the risk for dementia.
- Empower yourself to advocate for better health as you age.
This workshop includes six weekly, one hour sessions hosted by Julie Cruz, Well Wisconsin Well-being Program Manager. Recordings will be available for those unable to attend live.
