2026 Black Women Give Back Nominations

SUBMISSIONS DUE - Friday, July 10, 2026

“Weaving Abundance: Black Women as Architects of Collective Joy.”

Black women have always woven abundance in our communities—often invisibly, always powerfully. Today, we’re thrilled to launch the 6th annual 2026 Black Women Give Back Awards and unveil this year’s theme: Weaving Abundance: Black Women as Architects of Collective Joy.

The 2026 Black Women Give Back Awards are now accepting nominations for 10 extraordinary Black women across the globe who give through their time, talent, treasure, testimony, and ties—formally and informally. We’re especially seeking “quiet champions” and everyday philanthropists whose impact may not yet have a big platform but is transforming lives and communities.

The 2026 BWGB Awards will lift up 10 everyday philanthropists nationally and globally who use their time, talent, treasure, testimony, and ties—the 5 Ts—to make the world more just, more generous, and more joyful.

We are honoring women who:
• Build ecosystems of mutual thriving rather than individual survival
• Center joy, healing, and pleasure alongside justice work
• Transform pain into power and scarcity into shared prosperity
• Weave intergenerational wisdom into contemporary innovation

If she’s building community from her kitchen table, leading a giving circle, holding down a grassroots mutual aid fund, mentoring the next generation, or shifting policy and culture behind the scenes—we want to tell her story.
