PURPOSE OF THE SURVEY
Welcome to this survey on Landscape Wildfire Resilience Readiness. Embedded in the context of FIRE-RES, this survey will support the development of an easy-to-use assessment tool for public authorities and other stakeholders hoping to tackle the increasing risk of wildfires, particularly Extreme Wildfire Events.
The tool intends to compile a comprehensive list of technical, policy, economic, social, ecological, research and innovation interventions (indicators) to maximise a landscape's resilience against wildfires. For ease of use, the tool will group these indicators into a small number of dimensions. It is loosely based on the KTHTrademark method for assessing innovation readiness.
In order to ensure that the list of indicators and the dimensions are as valid and comprehensive as possible, you are invited to review the items presented in this survey and add any that you think have been missed. It would be fantastic if you could share your valuable time and expertise in this way!
The survey may take between 10 minutes (selected topic areas only) and 30 minutes (full survey) to complete. You are free to skip to the sections you have most information about or contribute to all sections as you see fit.
